Discovery & conversion strategy

Accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA) & mobile-first

Accessibility is not a checkbox. We design and build to WCAG 2.2 AA — semantic HTML, sensible heading hierarchy, keyboard navigation, focus states that actually exist, real contrast ratios, accessible forms, ARIA only where it earns its place.

Mobile is treated as the primary canvas, not a responsive afterthought. Most of your traffic is on a phone, often on a less-than-perfect connection — so we design the small screen first and let the desktop layout earn its extra space.

For ecommerce we typically build on Shopify (and Shopify Plus for larger merchants) with custom theme work or a headless front-end where the performance and design ceiling demands it. We're opinionated about product detail pages, cart and checkout flow, and the small details that quietly lift conversion rate.

Beyond the storefront, we wire ecommerce sites into the rest of your stack — ERPs, 3PLs, subscription tools, reviews, loyalty, email and SMS platforms — and into the paid media and SEO programs running alongside them, so the whole acquisition engine works as one.

A website your team can't update is a problem with a slow detonator. We pick (or build) a CMS that gives editors safe, predictable control — page-level editing, structured content components, sensible previews — without letting anyone accidentally redesign the homepage on a Tuesday.

Larger programs with custom integrations sit beyond that. We share a realistic week-by-week plan during scoping — and we'd rather build on time than promise an unrealistic deadline and miss it.

Do you build on WordPress, Shopify, or custom?

We pick the platform that fits the work, not the other way around. Modern marketing sites typically run on a headless CMS or a polished framework so they're fast, secure and easy for your team to update. Ecommerce sits on Shopify when it makes sense, or a custom stack when you've outgrown templates. We avoid bloated page-builder setups that look good on day one and collapse on month six.

Will my site be fast and SEO-ready out of the gate?

Yes — performance and SEO are non-negotiable foundations, not upsells. Every site we ship is built to a performance budget, hits green Core Web Vitals, has proper semantic HTML, accessible markup, structured data, sensible canonical and OG metadata, an XML sitemap and a clean robots.txt. If we can't keep the build fast, we redesign the part that's making it slow.
